Sunday morning πŸŒ„ provided a different take on Sister – Sister as Callie Harris performed two songs 🎡 at all three Church β›ͺ services with her Siblings looking on πŸ’˜

Fancy Gap, Virginia

Much has been made of the level of competition that takes place inside of the 🏑 where Marion and Sheila Harris raised their three little Girls. The youngest of the young Ladies, Callie “Half Pint ” Harris is preparing to become the third daughter to play Sports at the Collegiate level. The trio earned enough letters at Carroll County High School to start their own alphabet.

Sunday morning, Half Pint traded in her spikes for a dress πŸ‘— and sparkled in front of the congregation at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church. First as part of a duet and then as a soloist, her voice sounded at a level beyond her years.

What happened next created a memory of a lifetime. Both of her Big Sisters were sitting in the pew in front of us and in one motion they reached down for their cellphones and began to record their little Sis in her moment of serving the Lord.

In that one fell swoop, Adrienne and Natalie showed that there is so much more to their relationship than who runs faster, or kicks a ball harder or torments Mom and Dad easier.

Life will always be full of challenges and it should go without saying that the number one thing that family πŸ‘ͺ can do is be there for one another.

Because it wouldn’t seem normal to not take at least one good natured poke at our friend, Marion. We will close by saying that Shelia Harris sure did raise some neat children !

Just incase you needed a second and much more qualified opinion !

Trace Reavis is prepared to represent Carroll County High School tomorrow morning πŸŒ„ in Harrisonburg at the Class 3 State Tournament and we are ready to duplicate our hole by hole Golf β›³ coverage !

2024 – 2025 ended with then Junior. Trace Reavis placing in the Top 10 of the Class 3  State Tournament. Reavis enjoyed his stay at Heritage Oaks enough that the young man focused even more time and energy in the off season, with just one goal in mind – earning a second date at State.

It took a two hole playoff at Draper Valley Golf Club in the Regional tournament to get back to Rockingham County. Jeremy Ogle and Reavis headed North this morning with the hopes of getting in a practice round together as the first year Coach had the entire Cavalier team playing the game with more confidence throughout the season.

In roughly 12 hours from now, our Senior will play his final round of his High School career. At the same time we hope to once again provide Trace with the level of coverage that he has earned.

Everyone who has a vested interest in the results of the round is encouraged to check in early and often ! Tell a friend about it as well !!

Vickey Ritchie, we have to stop meeting like this ! Life is Good when one interacts with Vickey for Four Straight Days !

Business as usual in regards to Special Olympics Basketball πŸ€ practice today between 2 and 4. Brett Petty is showing zero signs of slowing down after his effort in the Boo Ridge 5K Run πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Stephanie is here today with one of her Pups 🐢, both competed yesterday in the 5K as well. Stormy the Pup 🐢

Love the fact that after three days (appox – 40 hours), Coach Vickey didn’t want to play the but I’m tired card. Not even a little..

Unofficial count on Hoopsters is 16!

Still to come – Trace Reavis, Pastor Stephen Puckett and two of the Harris Sisters created a new Olympic event called Sequencenized Cell Phones !
