Galax – The World 🌎 entered the final nine holes 🕳 in need of a comeback of biblical proportions as they trailed 6-3 after the third session. Amazingly, it was 6.5 All with two matches remainin before the Locals righted the ship 🚢 to claim the $15 Million dollars 💵 and bragging rights in the inaugural event.
The teams were drawn up based on where the golfers 🏌️♂️attended High School 🏫 back in the day and were fairly even throughout the match held over the past two weekends.
Darian Brown ( Twin County) was the lone golfer 🏌️♂️ to score 4 out of the potential 4 points for their squad. Five golfers were close behind by scoring 2.5 points.
