Carroll County High School Junior Varsity Volleyball 🏐 huffed and puffed against Marion on Wednesday night but simply could not blow down the Hurricanes house.

The final score will show that visiting Marion swept the Lady Cavaliers 2-0 in Non-District action 🎬 Wednesday night but Nikki Heflin and her Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers sure made Marion High work for the Opening set.

Marion led 21-15 and appeared to be well on their way to an easy victory in the opening set. Carroll County broke through on a 7-0 run behind the serving of Ashton Rodrigue. The Lady Cavaliers were suddenly leading 22-21 but could not find the knockout punch.

The teams were tied at every point between 22 and 39 before the Hurricanes πŸŒ€ finally strung together the winning points in the 31-29 πŸ’…nailbighter.

Β  In the second set the visitors strung together runs πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ of 7-0 and 10-0 on their way to a 25-7 victory.

The Junior Varsity Lady Cavaliers return to action 🎬 Thursday night when Glenvar visits The Hill.
