Boys 👦 Soccer ⚽️ was the only sport to split their games as JV fell 2-0 ahead of Varsity defeating Floyd County High 4-1.

Christian Hernandez did everything but sell popcorn 🍿 at Tommy Thompson Field as Carroll County High Varsity defeated Floyd County 4-1 Thursday night.
The Senior keeper had already played the game of his High School career in leading the Cavaliers to a much needed Three Rivers District victory. Then in the closing minutes Hernandez perfectly defended not one but two Penalty Kicks rewarded to the Buffalo squad.
If you see Hernandez 👀 on The Hill tomorrow, make sure to tell him, I heard about what you did on the Pitch !!!!

Coaches Jeremy Puckett and Forrest Johnson are sharing the Pitch tonight and hosting Youth Soccer teams in between matches.
Martin McKenzie is hosting Tennis 🎾 and Christy Shupe is taking her Cavaliers over to Floyd County.

Kevin’s shop has such a throwback feel to it, across the board. Like Norm on the old sitcom Cheers, a place where everyone knows your name, and the others waiting for their turn in the historic chair 💺.
Today is Thursday and once again Kevin has a full house 🏠. The vibe is always relaxed and takes me back to time where life felt less complicated. The topic of the day is about 🐟🐠 and catching the big one.
Kevin is good natured about the reason why folks wait in line for a haircut. The glass half-empty says he runs the only Barber Shop in town so there’s no choice.
Living in the Class half-full, I want to believe its because people feel at home here and they can visit with old friends and make new ones during their stay.

The Boys 👦 and Girls 👧 teams will be competing in Christiansburg this Saturday as more Cavaliers look to qualify for the State Meet in Lynchburg.
