Sadly, the Clock ⏰ ran out on our Cavaliers Boys 👦 Tennis 🎾 team at Cave Spring High School but Ethan Richardson and Maverick Baker will continue next week in Singles and Doubles.

In an end that was fitting to how the Spring played out for both Tennis 🎾 teams, Carroll County fell 5-0 to the host Knights of Cave Spring in an abbreviated match finally played on Thursday afternoon.

#1 seed Ethan Richardson and his doubles partner, Maverick Baker will both switch over to the individual side of Regional tournament play next week.

Carroll County was going to trip up Cave Spring High in this match but when it started out on Memorial Day Monday morning 🌄 stand alone event. One that would have allowed the Cavaliers to enjoy their reward for qualifying for the post season as a team.

Sadly, the match was moved due to weather and graduation 🎓 four times before it was forced into the last window of possibility and then shortened to a first to five rapid fire contest.

While Richardson and Baker get to continue playing, it would have been nice if the rest of the team had been able to enjoy their reward for the season.
