Monday and the day long Rain π§ washed out six events and one Senior Day. Our Athletic Director, Kevin DeHaven then spent most of the day looking for blank spots to shove the four Soccer β½οΈ and two Tennis πΎ matches. The answer game in three separate days as the schedule is at the point of spilling over its banks as the school year is coming to an end.
Now its early Tuesday and we have six more events and three more Senior Day events on the docket. The two ball diamonds π, Bill Worrell Field and Cavalier Park might be more suited for Boat races π at this point. Tommy Thompson Field has less dirt / mud to deal with but the thought of playing today is a reach.
The Lady Cavaliers Soccer β½οΈ teams are the only squads that had a match washed out on Monday and possibly again tonight. Martinsville is tonight’s opponent for them while the rest of the Cavaliers are set to host Patrick County.
The new homes for the contests lost on Monday are as follows :
Girls Tennis πΎ is moved to Friday.
Boys Soccer at Patrick County is now Thursday.
Girls Soccer is now on 5/20.
Boys Tennis πΎ at Patrick was the remaining contest.
