Ties πŸ‘” are interesting in that some can feel like a loss while others can feel like a Victory ! Brittany Kinney and her team had one of those Victory ties Friday night versus James River High School πŸ«.

” Last time we played James River we had that long bus ride, weather, and inexperienced players. Our result wasn’t what we wanted a 0-5 loss. This time we were much more aggressive, had beautiful weather, and a team of less inexperienced players! I was so proud of our effort overall.

We’ve been pulling some eligible kiddos down from Varsity and it has helped our girls so much to have those girls on the field. We played incredibly well on the defensive and offensive end.

Β  1. Our defensive girls (Genesis, Aaliyah, Carlee, Aliza, Dezirae) did an incredible job.

2. Chloe is doing an amazing job at goalie. She always gives 100% effort and energy.

3. Baya continues to hold our top of the diamond strong. Often times, playing 1-1 with some of the other team’s best players. I’m proud of all our girls! We are wrapping up our season with only four games left.

All of these things resulted in a 0-0 tie; but like I told my girls after a game.. it’s a win in my book!”

You can catch this hard working group three times next week at Tommy Thompson Field. Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights πŸŒ™.

Saturday is a BIG Day for Track πŸ‘£ and Field βž• CCHS Baseball ⚾️ !

Shawn Montgomery and Jon Delp are still hopeful that a few more of their Cavaliers can earn an invitation to Lynchburg and their next opportunity is today in Christiansburg.
