The Tickle – Newman story is up now, the rest are Coming Soon !

They say that a Photo πŸ“· can tell a 1,000 word story, if that’s the case, this one could fill an entire chapter in a Book πŸ“–

What can we say about these Newman girls, Ashlyn (left) and Kaylei (right)? They are two of the greatest to ever play soccer for Carroll County High School, and both went on to showcase their talent at Bluefield University. Maybe the better question is, What can we not say? When I think about the adjectives I can use to describe these young ladies, the list is long. The first word that comes to mind is competitive. One of my fondest memories is watching these two “practice” against each other at a summer workout. Talk about intense! The next word that comes to mind is athletic. They can run fast, kick hard, throw long, and pass accurately. Honestly, the list could go on and on. They are both hard-working, dedicated, dependable, talented, family oriented young ladies. However, I think the word that best describes Ashlyn and Kaylei Newman would be faithful. These two ladies love the Lord, and they are very intentional about their walk with Christ! I think this shows in their humility, compassion, and love for others.

Folks, the words written above were pinned by Mr. Ben Tickle.

While I know the Newman family πŸ‘ͺ and think the World 🌎 of them, I felt that having Mr Tickle speak about them would speak volumes.

NewsBreak picked up the Wizard of Oz story and shared it with the masses!

Here’s a thought…

Link to the story….

Why is it important to see a story to go from our site to The Carroll News and then to NewsBreak ?

A story that sits on our site will reach at best 1,000 readers. When Allen Worrell shares it with the readers of The Carroll News, both online and in print, it does three things. It makes it available to the computer πŸ–₯ generation.

Next, the older generation can read the newspaper πŸ“° on Thursday. Please note πŸ“ that I’m part of the ” Older ” generation.

Thirdly, its puts the story in line to be picked up by the folks at NewsBreak. This sends the story up and down the Eastern Seaboard.  Tens of thousands of people can now see how proud we are of our Cavaliers !

It’s Monday, so if you see Allen Worrell today, tell him Happy Deadline Day !
