Thursdays doubleheader sweep allowed West Virginia Tech University to pull within one game of Brescia University in the River States Conference standings with four league games to play.
What’s at stake here is an invite to the RSC post season tournament on May 1st in Chilhowie, Ohio.
One game behind Brescia and just 1/2 game behind Midway with two of the three teams moving into the six team double elimination tournament.
WVU-T has a tough final weekend draw as we will be hosting IU- Southeast in our close-out weekend. Brescia and Midway finish up the season together. This makes the game today as close to an elimination game as it can get.
Rio Grande is still in the chase as well. The Golden Bears 🐻 hold the tiebreaker over Rio and Brescia but not Midway.
The team is coming on strong and everyone is locked 🔒 in for the chase to Ohio !
