” Varsity got it going early with a fast break by Savannah Swecker within the first minutes of the game with a shot inches away from scoring. Then the girls kept the pressure up on the offensive side especially on fast break situations. The girls were all creating many great opportunities on goal throughout the entire game.
The defense also stepped up on a couple quick counterattacks that Patrick had along with goalkeeper Alexis Sheffey coming out to make a couple huge saves. Overall, tonight was a great way to end the week before the break!! Now time for some rest and to begin preparing for Radford next week!!!”
