What a wild and wonderful ride as we played seven College Baseball โšพ๏ธ games in just over 48 hours at Linda K Epling Stadium ๐ŸŸ.

Monday was the final two games in the Baseball Bonanza hosted by our West Virginia Tech University Golden Bears ๐Ÿป.

Our goal through this process is to prove that WVU-T and Linda K Epling Stadium can and should be a major player in the World ๐ŸŒŽ of NAIA Baseball. Mission Accomplished by everything that I witnessed !

Fisher College Falcons and our Golden Bears ๐Ÿป split the getaway twin bill. Fisher captured the opener 7-1 and Tech responded by taking the seventh and final game by a score of 11-5.

Final numbers :

Georgia Gwinnett 3-1

The crowd Sunday afternoon was by far the largest of the season, by a wide margin. Our Golden Bears ๐Ÿป highlight came in the ending of a 15 game winning streak that belonged to #2 GGC.

We staged a seven game in two plus days NAIA showcase and it benefited the Schools ๐Ÿซ involved as well as the City of Beckley, West Virginia.

Boys ๐Ÿ‘ฆ Soccer โšฝ๏ธ Coach Forrest Johnson โœ”s in with the results from our doubleheader at Floyd County !

Carroll County Soccer

Our Tennis ๐ŸŽพ teams challenged the ever so tough Buffaloes tonight and both fell short but showed signs of progress. Plus we now have both a serious and Fun photos of the Boys squad!

The nuts and bolts ๐Ÿ”ฉ

From Coach McKenzie :

“This afternoon the Varsity Girls Tennis team faced a very talented and well coached Floyd County team. We lost 9-0, but showed improvement in a lot of areas. The main goal right now for us is the little improvements that the girls show me from week to week. One match at a time!”

Fun fact learned tonight about Boy’s Coach Christy Shupe – Coach played Tennis ๐ŸŽพ for two seasons during her time on The Hill !

Both teams are set to return to action ๐ŸŽฌ both Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Tonight’s view is a perfect match to our OneofUs.Care logo and it means that I’m finally ๐Ÿก after a truly long four Days…

Car ๐Ÿš— is unpacked and there are stories that need to be written and that will begin at some point, just not yet.

I can tell you that Varsity Softball won 5-1 over Galax and Varsity Boys ๐Ÿ‘ฆ Tennis ๐ŸŽพ fell short against an always tough Floyd County team.

West Virginia Tech University closed out our Marathon 2+ days where seven Baseball โšพ๏ธ games were played and announced with a record of 3-2.

Martin McKenzie and his Girls Tennis ๐ŸŽพ team should be returning from Floyd shortly and we will share those results when we have them. Until then,

Boys Soccer โšฝ๏ธ teams are playing in Floyd and we hope to share news when available.
