
Carroll County High School played six contests versus Pulaski County High School β Carroll County Middle School Softball faced Grayson. Here are the seven results from Tuesday night π.
Carroll County Varsity Baseball 11, Pulaski County 1 (5 innings).
We beat Pulaski 11-1 tonight. Britt Berrier went 2 for 4 with a double and triple tonight. Gage Nicholson, Camden Dehaven, and Ben Phillips also has two hits apiece tonight. Gage and Ben both homered tonight for us.
On the mound Ben went the distance. Scattering 5 hits and striking out 4 to get the win.

CCHS JV Baseball 13, Pulaski County 9
The Nester Nine improved to 5-0 on the season but there was one difference tonight as the red hot string of four consecutive shutouts finally ended. Carroll County raced out to an 8-1 lead before icing the game with five runs πββοΈ after the Cougars rallied to get within 8-6.
Pulaski JV Softball 9, Carroll County 3
Alexis Dalton and her nine showed tremendous improvement in their second game with a talented Cougars team. Last time out PCHS won by Mercy rule but this time the Lady Cavaliers played the full six innings.
CCHS led 3-2 in the top of the fifth inning before the visitors put up a five spot in the fifth inning and added two more in the top of the sixth. Molly Montgomery led the offense with two of the six hits

New Coach Christy Shupe improved to 2-0 on the season and did so in style by sweeping the Cougars in Dublin.

Ethan Richardson and Maverick Baker led the way as the #1 & #2 seeds. The duo then teamed up for an 8-0 sweep in the top doubles pairing.
Shupe is off to an impressive start to her new career and it will be interesting to see how the season plays out.
Girls Tennis πΎ – Pulaski County 6, Carroll County 3.
Head Coach Martin McKenzie joined Dalton as a Cavalier coach who dropped a second decision to Pulaski County but made great strides in the rematch.

Pulaski County won the first match 8-1 and this time it went 6-3. McKenzie pointed to the scores within the scores as another manor of seeing progress for his team.
” Super proud of our Varsity Girls Tennis team tonight. We may have lost the match, but they showed so much improvement from the last time we played Pulaski,” said McKenzie. “Proud Coach tonight of all the young ladies.”

Varsity Softball – Pulaski County 19, Carroll County 2 (6 innings)
Pulaski County capitalized on two big two out rallies in the fourth and sixth innings to revenge an early setback to the Lady Cavaliers.
CCHS led 1-0 early after Emma Harman led off with a single and scored on a perfect sacrifice bunt by Laiken Burnett. The teams were tied at 1-1 heading to the top of the fourth inning and after two outs were recorded, six straight Cougars reached base to make it 7-1.
The top of the sixth inning was unlike any other in recent history as after two outs were recorded, nine consecutive batters reached base. By the time the final out was recorded, eleven more runs were scored to make it 19-2.
The team was playing its first game without Holly Miller, after her injury. Miller was able to be with her teammates for the game. A broken collarbone will keep the leadoff hitter sidelined for a considerable amount of time.
Catcher Natalie Burress led the offense by going 3 for 3 with a pair of doubles plus a RBI. Bayleigh Allen singled in a pinch hitting role and Kenzie McMillian reentered to score the second run.
” Tonight was a tough loss to a really good team,” said Head Coach Rick Nester. ” Pulaski put the ball into play very well tonight. We had multiple girls that had good at bats. We just needed more of them. I told them that tomorrow was a new day and weβre going to come out and get better!”

Ashlynn S collected three hits in four at bats, as Carroll County Middle School defeated Grayson 15-0 on Tuesday. Ashlynn S singled in the fourth inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Carroll County Middle School got on the board in the top of the second inning after Gracie G drew a walk, scoring one run, Morgan O doubled, scoring two runs, Briley M singled, scoring two runs, and Laken L grounded out, scoring one run.
A double by Kate H extended the Carroll County Middle School lead to 7-0 in the top of the third inning.
Carroll County Middle School scored six runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. A steal of home scored one run, Ashlynn S singled, scoring two runs, Kate H singled, scoring one run, and Milli P singled, scoring two runs.
Morgan O stepped in the circle first for Carroll County Middle School. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking three. C W started the game for Grayson. The hurler allowed 11 hits and 15 runs (nine earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking seven.
Carroll County Middle School collected 11 hits in the game. Gracie G paced Carroll County Middle School with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Ashlynn S, Milli P, Morgan O, Briley M, and Gracie G each stole multiple bases for Carroll County Middle School. Carroll County Middle School stole 15 bases in the game. Carroll County Middle School were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Gracie G made the most plays with seven.
