We beat Galax tonight 25-1. Lots of players had a great game. Britt Berrier went 4 for 6 at the plate. Peyton Spencer went 3 for 5 with his first career homer, Peyton also had 5 RBIs. Ben Phillips also hit a home run, a grand slam, and drove in 6 runs tonight.
Ben, Wyatt Ogle, and Jacky Turman all threw today well. The combo allowed two hits and struck out 10 as a group. All together a great night for these guys. Work starts back tomorrow.

We have a schedule change for the Junior Varsity Softball team as their game at Bassett High School 🏫 has been moved up from Friday to Thursday afternoon. This will allow the Coaching staff, players and families an opportunity to attend the Friday home Varsity game and post game tribute to Jeff Tobler.
Two Girls 👧 Soccer ⚽️ games and two Baseball ⚾️ games are on the slate, with things getting underway here in just over one hour. Plus we have Jabin Talley playing Tennis 🎾 and Golden Bears 🐻 Baseball taking place.

The original schedule showed five contests but we know that the Varsity Softball game has been moved to next month, leaving four Cavalier events for today.
Head Baseball ⚾️ Coach Casey Burcham and his Diamond💎 have The Hill to themselves tonight at 5:00 pm. Galax crosses over US-58 to test the Cavaliers.
The remaining three teams will be heading over to Galax for their games and matches.
The Junior Varsity Girls 👧 Soccer team returns to action 🎬 for the third time this season. Start time is 5:30 on the pitch.
Going to have some fun with the remaining two as its time for a Top Ten List of things that JV Baseball Coach Adam Nester and Varsity Girls Soccer Coach Adrienne Harris have in common.

Cavalier Chorus tonight @ CCHS. 3 choirs, 4 songs each, an evening of Broadway favorites.
First song a combined choir welcome opener of “There’s No Business Like Show Business”, followed by a very brave group of 6 ninth graders in their first concert.
Next up the Intermediate Choir with their set of 4. The night will be finished up by the Advanced Choir.
