From our JV Coach Brittany Kinney!!By way of Varsity Coach Adrienne Harris:
Tuesday- JV at Abingdon We didnβt have a deep bench with several players fighting sickness and other commitments. We played hard, but have a lot of to grow! Genesis and the back line played some really tough defense. They all worked hard and we crossed the midfield a few times. Sherlyn scored with around 2:00 left in the second half! It was a team effort. We finished with a 7-1 loss, but left with more confidence!
Β Β Wednesday- JV at Pulaski We didnβt have a deep bench again with several players fighting sickness and other commitments. Pulaski is a tough team. Taelynn, Dezirae, and Madison had some tough defensive plays. We crossed the midfield a fews times, but werenβt successful with a goal. Overall, proud of their efforts of games! Neither score reflects how hard our goalie is working. Several girls are new to the sport and they are working hard.
Thank You Ma’am and please feel free to check β in as often as you like !

Even when you prefer a darker shade of Blue, it shouldn’t prevent you from cheering on the Lady Tar Heels when given an opportunity to do so.
The last time I watched a game inside of Carmichael Arena a skinny kid from Wilmington, North Carolina was playing in his freshman Blue – White game. That means I’m pretty old and today I feel even older than old.
Columbia University and West Virginia University played the opener and the Ivy League Lions played the second half at 32-30. Two guards for WVU combined for over 50 points in leading the Mountaineers to victory.
