Fun with Cavalier Numbers, the Family πŸ‘ͺ edition !

We had six results from last night πŸŒ™ and buried inside the numbers were two items with distinct Family πŸ‘ͺ Ties πŸ‘”.

We have the Nester Family and the Harris Family playing today, or should I say last night πŸŒ™…

Veteran Coach Rick Nester coached his Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers Softball team to a 24 run explosion. It was the highest run total in over a decade. Yet it turns out that it wasn’t the highest score of the evening for the Cavaliers, or even his Family as son Adam Nester led the Junior Varsity team to a 25 run victory back on The Hill. Just saying, the Nester’s had a pretty good night !

Β  The flip side of 49 runs πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ is the fact that the Carroll County Girls πŸ‘§ Soccer ⚽️ program won πŸ† its opening Varsity match, 1-0. Head Coach Adrienne Harris was able to earn her inaugural victory as her little Sister, Callie, put the biscuit in the basket 🧺 for Carroll County against Pulaski County.

Three victories, 50 total scores and two Families shining in the moment. Priceless.

Casey Burcham also won his initial game last night πŸŒ™ as his Cavaliers broke a 1-1 tie πŸ‘” to defeat Bassett 6-1.

Thursday night πŸŒ™ is a rest day but Friday we will have 8 of our 12 Spring teams competing.

Kudos to the Nester and the Harris family πŸ‘ͺ and all that contributed !
