Dane Leonard drove in five runs on three hits to lead Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers past Bassett Junior Varsity Bengals 25-0 on Wednesday. Dane Leonard singled in the first inning, scoring one run, and singled in the third inning, scoring one.

Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Chanson Rakes singled, scoring one run, Reid Horton doubled, scoring one run, Conner Reece doubled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Colton Quesenberry singled, scoring two runs, Reid Horton singled, scoring two runs, Conner Reece grounded out, scoring one run, and Dane Leonard singled, scoring one run.

Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers added one run in the second. Will Love singled to right field, making the score 12-0.

Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning. Peyton Goad singled, scoring one run, Jayden Wright singled, scoring one run, Clay Quesinberry singled, scoring one run, Bryce Nicholson drew a walk, scoring one run, and Dane Leonard singled, scoring one run.

Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers scored eight runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. An error scored one run, Will Love drew a walk, scoring one run, Clay Quesinberry was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Bryce Nicholson drew a walk, scoring one run, Dane Leonard was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Chase Branch drew a walk, scoring one run, Eli Busick singled, scoring one run, and Caleb Bradley induced Grayson Webb to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Reid Horton earned the win for Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Colton Quesenberry and Bryce Nicholson each threw shutout innings for Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers in relief.

Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers amassed 21 hits in the game. Dane Leonard and Jayden Wright each collected three hits for Carroll County Junior Varsity Cavaliers.
