Getting to spend three of the five days in Greensboro this week was enjoyable as it gets. The level of accessibility one gets at the Women’s Basketball 🏀 tournament is significantly higher than the Men’s event and then to have Duke University winning the event for the first time since 2013, simply capped a great stretch.
#1 NC State, who went from leading by 14 to coming up 14 points short, experienced quite the difference in the early stages to the second half. Now the top 7 teams will wait to learn more about their path in the coming days as the Big Dance Bracket 💃 gets released.
Hey Jerry Just a thought Michelle and I had wanted to run by you! Tommy Sharp is Bryce and Brayden’s personal trainer at the wellness center. There Freshman, Sophomore, Junior year they got up 530am 3-5 days a week and he put them through tough workouts! Weight lifting and conditioning! He is hardcore and very very good at what he does. He has played a very major part and Bryce‘s development. Is he someone you would like me to contact to give his view on Bryce :

“I started working with Bryce the summer after 8th grade and it didn’t take long to realize 2 important things about him, first of all he was a very quiet & humble young man with an extremely likable personality that I immediately liked about him and the fact he’s a Steelers fan made it even easier to like him lol!
But second of all I saw in him the God given talent of athleticism & work ethic to make whatever he was asked to do look effortless. He has such a gift of picking things up quickly and that mixed with his terrific personality makes him a coaches dream!
We always started our week out together first thing Monday mornings and I’ve got to tell you being with those guys first thing in morning made my entire day truly blessed! I’m really proud of you brother you earned this and you absolutely deserve it!”

Tammy Quesenberry is equally excited about the upcoming season, even though the School Board meeting will mess up her seeing the scrimmage. My issue with Tuesday is your not allowed to announce a scrimmage.
Lawrence Nesselrodt is coaching up our Golden Bears 🐻 up in Beckley and Kara Lawson is coaching up the Lady 👩 Blue Devils over in Greensboro but here on The Hill, Coach Vickey is back in action 🎬 after two Sundays away.
We have a full house 🏠 today at Hillsville Elementary School, both on the court and off !
Duke was down 19-10 after the 1st quarter but are now leading by 17 late as they try to capture the ACC Women’s Basketball 🏀 Tournament crown 👑.
