Lawrence Nesselrodt (Charleston, WV), Tracy Mellis (O’Fallon, Missouri), Chris Carter ➕ 4 Grandchildren (Luray, Va), Wayne Carter (Sellersburg, Indiana), Douglas Owens (Louisville, Kentucky) and Pappy and Barb Meade (Stuarts Draft,Va) each made the trek from out of town to Laurel Fork for the Banquet on Sunday the 11 had to get back home today.
First stop ✋ was to drop off Tracy at the Roanoke Airport and next stop ✋ was Staunton, Va to check in on Pappy’s Tennis 🎾 practice.
Then it was Dennis Zimmerman who joyfully listened to my play by play recap of the Night 🌙 during dinner 🍽.
Then it was on to Stanley, Virginia where one of our nine Grandchildren (Melody) scored a career high 8 points in her 10 year old Basketball 🏀 game !!!
Then the focus turned to tomorrow as we will attempt to keep an eye 👁 👀on a number of things…
Shannon Dalton will take us Pool Side in Richmond for the State Championship Swimming 🏊♂️ and Diving event.
Just like people track Santa 🎅 on New Years Eve, we will monitor the bizarre 24 hours of Ethan Richardson as he is set to compete in both Richmond and Spotswood.
➕ MACC is in Blacksburg for their Final event, Pappy’s Tennis 🎾 team has a scrimmage at 4:30 pm in Harrisonburg. At 6:00 pm our Friend, Chris Dodson hosts his State QF and we wrap the night 🌙with the Carroll County High School 🏫 Boys 👦Basketball🏀 facing the Spotswood Boys at roughly 7:45pm.
Shannon Dalton will be a busy, busy Lady 👩 tomorrow as will the Richardson Family 👪 and we will do our best to put a positive spin on it all !
