There’s an old saying that when Life hands you πŸ‹, you should make Lemonade. When Mother Nature keeps you from practicing Softball….

Head Coach Rick Nester reached into his bag πŸŽ’ of creativity on Sunday afternoon, attempting to make a positive experience for as many of his Softball players as possible.

The best part of the afternoon was no snowman were injured in the making of the chest full of Memories.

At my best attempt of Math, we had eight Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers, eight Adults, three little ones and two 🐢🐢.

Raylee Goins is the bravest of the Brave but everyone seemed to enjoy their time in the suburbs of Laurel Fork. Coach Nester provided a ride back up the hill after each round of attempts.

The group was just updated about CCHS being closed again tomorrow. We are all ready for life to return to normal and the games can go back to being played. As of now the Girls πŸ‘§ are set to travel over to Martinsville and the Boys πŸ‘¦ up to James River.

We will await official word on Mondays ballgames, which I’m sure will come tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers have headed back outside for Round 2 of Making Lemonade on a brutal Winter Day.
