Ladies and Gentlemen, this concludes our Varsity Basketball πŸ€ Player Profiles !

When you do a set of 12, someone has to be the last one. We did the Seniors in spots 1-6 and then the Juniors in spots 7-12. Using the same protective mindset that I do with everything else, I didn’t want anyone to feel they were the last one picked for Kickball.

Β  It’s fun to say things like – Last but not least or saving the Best for Last. In this case I simply chose someone who certainly knows me and the amount of respect that I have for him and his Family πŸ‘ͺ.

Β  Thank You to Coach Barnes and Coach Richardson for making this possible πŸ™ again this season !

With all of that said, I present to you, Mr Isaiah Martin Easter !

Today’s Morning Trek will be forever known as the Jeff Tobler Memorial 5K πŸ’˜

How does one properly Pay Tribute to a Man πŸ‘¨ that has passed way, way too soon and means so very much to his Family, extended Family and his Community ?

It’s been hard to pull focus from the news back in Carroll County that Jeff Tobler passed away during the night.

Tobler meant so very much to all of the Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers, past, present and future ones. My own loss comes in the form of knowing that we lost a walking example of a OneofUs person. Jeff gave of himself on a daily basis and not for a bag of 30 Gold Coins. Jeff and Tammy gave of themselves because they could and desired to do so.

Much is said about the Greater Good and the Tobler family lived by that montra. The first person to let me know this morning was a fellow member of the Lead with Your Heart ❀ committee, Velvet Creed Leonard. While I have only experienced Jeff and Tammy through Cavalier Park, Velvet had a front row seat as Laynie-Jo Leonard was led by and Coached by Jeff for many, many years.

While my thoughts and Prayers go out to Tammy and her Family πŸ‘ͺπŸ™, I will equally πŸ™ing for everyone who has been Coached and / or mentored by Jeff.

As I said in my initial post – Jeff Tobler was a Man, a Great Big Man and we were all Blessed to share space with him.

The Memorial Walk πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ this morning πŸŒ„ included a Sign from above. Seeing the Hot πŸ”₯ Air Balloon 🎈raise into the Desert 🏜 Sky let me know that Jeff Tobler now has a room with a view and that he will be looking down on Tammy and his many, many Cavaliers. πŸ’˜

Trying hard to invision Carroll County Softball without Coach Tobler is hard to do as Jeff shined a very bright light on all of us each and every moment of each and every Day.

Coach Rick Nester, Emma Leath and Coach Jeff Tobler on the signing day last year.

Hillsville – Waking up on Christmas Eve out in Utah, I wasn’t sure what my first thought would be. But that changed in a heart beat when I picked up my phone to a message from Velvet Creed Leonard and a second one from Allen Worrell letting me know that our Family πŸ‘ͺ has lost Mr. Jeff Tobler.

Β Β  My first thoughts go out to Tammy, his Bride and Lifetime Love of his life. But it doesn’t stop there because Jeff had such an impact on all of us in the Softball community.

Β  Tobler lived his life with a smile on his face and wore his kindness on his sleeve. My relationship with him and Tammy is only four years old but it doesn’t take long to be drawn in to the World of Tobler.

Β  Thinking all the way back to the second time I met Jeff, we were at the hitting facility in town and he saw me before Coach Nester did and he told him, your little buddy is here to see you. That moment was our bond from that day forward.

Β  Every young Lady that has come through the Cavaliers Softball program has their own heartbreaking process to go through this morning. Our Softball team is truly an extended Family and we have lost our Grandfather today.

Β  Having sat beside Tammy for every moment of every home game for years now, I am having trouble seeing how to properly show the amount of Love, Respect and Appreciation I have for the Tobler Family. The amount of lives that have been touched by them over the decades is through the roof and I happily include myself in that count.

Heaven has a new Ball Coach this morning and he has a Golden Whistle and Clipboard in hand. Most people want to make a difference in life during their stay here on Earth and Jeff Tobler was a Man, a Great Big Man who shared his love for life with so many of us !
