Dane Leonard and Blake Reed scored 10 points each to lead Carroll County to a wire to wire 48-30 victory over the Chilhowie Warriors.
” We played well against Chilhowie. Our defense and rebounding fueled our offense. We lead by 10 after the first quarter and up 16 at halftime. We boxed out better and limited our turnovers. We need to continue to improve in those areas to sustain this success.”
Carroll County now sits at 2-3 heading into a home contest on Friday versus Fort Chiswell.
The JV team is also set to compete in the upcoming Fort Chiswell Tournament !
