The Big Question on Day #9/42 is this – What do Taylor Swift, Cirque du Soleil and the Vancouver Canucks have in common ? Tonight they will all be performing in Downtown Vancouver, BC

Taylor Swift is in the City with her Era’s tour starting tonight and just a few blocks away the National Hockey πŸ’ League will be hosting a game between the Canucks and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The greater Vancouver area has a population of right around 3 Million people nowadays and that number will grow this weekend.

Realizing that the Daily Double was taking place on Friday, Lin and I moved up our Hanging in the Big City by one day. Whistler sits two hours North of Vancouver BC atop the Sea to Sky Highway. When we are up here we chose 1 day to take a Charter Bus 🚌 down.

The large building with the white roof on the right is BC Place. The Canadian Football League’s BC Lions call it home and it holds just over 50,000.

Been fortunate to have attended many a sporting event in both of those venues over the years and I’m sure Downtown will be quite the place later tonight !

Here a few of the sights from yesterday…

The photo πŸ“· with the 12 plaques is showing that the YVR Airport was named the Top Airport in North America for 12 straight years !

Charter Bus, Sky Train πŸš† and Sea Bus (Vancouver to North Vancouver and back ) were the modes of public transportation involved on the way to racking up 22K steps πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ.

Our time here is running out as we head down to the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on Saturday. Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ is a special, special place for us and its been Awesome to get back to British Columbia!
