Having a Student Athlete play three or more Sports in a year is not an uncommon thing nowadays. Last year both Sarah Alderman and Davis Reitzel managed four each but being one of these very Best at what you do is in a class of its own.
Being the sole member of a club – like the 1,000+ Dig Club in Volleyball ๐ in the history of the CCHS program says even more. Holding the School scoring record in another Sport until late last season is another significant achievement.
Richardson is just getting started in his Senior season of Basketball and Swimming ahead of Tennis in the Spring, so we won’t know his final resting place in regards to the All-Time Greats of Carroll County.
But know that the common denominator between Student Athletes like Richardson and Harris is giving everything you have into everything you do !
Just in from the big city of Salem. The Cavalier Men took home victories tonight over Galax and Roanoke Catholic, but fell just short of beating Glenvar.
Last year’s state relay team of Ethan Edwards, Ethan Richardson, Wyatt Ogle, and Bradley Dalton took second in both 200 Medley and 400 Free, falling both times to Glenvar.
Britt Berrier, Matthew Bissonnette, Andrew Taylor, and Camden DeHaven took 4th in 200 Free Relay.
Garrison Wheatley, Landon Lintecum, Griffin Wheatley, and Will Dalton swam an exhibition 200 Free Relay for 6th place.

On the women’s side, Savannah Dalton, Savannah Swecker, Amelia Forsyth, and Karmen Smith took 4th in 200 Free Relay.
Here’s a heartfelt inside story from a Proud Mom ๐ฉ :
Their final times were 19.32 seconds apart, so a technical win for Bradley in second place. ๐
Shannon Dalton is a Special, Special Lady ๐ฉ that dedicates a great deal of her time to help us try and keep the Community that isn’t on Social Media updated. Her efforts are GREATLY APPRECIATED. ๐
Congratulations ๐ to everyone who competed as a Cavalier tonight !
