Monday nights 🌙 Volleyball Banquet 🏐 was both a time of reflection and Celebration for the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams.
Maleah Neely and Jason Petty are both stepping away from the program after incredibly long runs 🏃♂️ with Head Coach Cindy Edwards. Aza Petty has played her final match with the team but will wear the jersey one more time as she has accepted an invitation from the FCA to play in their Southwest Virginia All-Star game in December.

The team will have a different look next season 👀 as new Coaches will slide into new roles. New players will have to step up to be team leaders on the court and in the lockeroom. There is no doubt that all of this will play out correctly under the watchful eyes of Coach Edwards.
The past 90 Days has been fun as this group was very coachable which translates to very likable. They overachieved from start to finish and grew as a team along the way.
Quick Math tells me that the team finished 13-11 after playing Volleyball 🏐 on a total of 21 Calender days. Happy to note that I was able to watch them on 19 of the 21 times and was once again amazed by the dedication of their families every step of the way.
Road trips to Patrick Springs, Gate City, James River and twice to Alleghany. The Parents and siblings were simply Amazing 👏.
