The past four years has flown by in certain ways yet feels like a lifetime in others.
First things First, each of the programs that we have been following / supporting this Fall has some unfinished business and we will happily stay with them until the are all done playing their schedules.
Carroll County High School 🏫 Varsity Volleyball 🏐 is set to play Tuesday night in the Region Quarterfinals at Christiansburg with first serve being planned for 6pm.
Carroll County Cross Country still has their Regional meet left and we will remain alongside Head Coach Shawn Montgomery until the final runner 🏃♂️ has completed their final race 🏁.
Appalachian State University Field Hockey 🏑 has moved into their Post Season play and the team will now play in the MAC tournament on November 6th, 7th and 8th. The event will take place in Ohio.
Duke University 🏈🏈🏈 sits at 6-3 with three more regular season games and a Bowl 🥣 game yet to play. At NCSU, vs Va Tech, at Wake Forrest and then to a Bowl destination during December.
The common denominator with each of these is that I have completed ALL of my Announcing assignments. Now its just about showing support from the sidelines.
The sole place left I might be holding a 🎤🎙🎤 is at Basketball 🏀 with Coach Vickey Ritchie.
There are hundreds of tweaks to the process that will be talked about here before too long. But the first piece of Business is to wrap up the seasons in hand ✋.
The Goal is no longer to try and throw a blanket of coverage over the entire County or even for the entire High School / Middle School. It’s unrealistic to accomplish such a thing in a place that is running 🏃♂️ at Top Speed in a non-stop manner.
The Goal is to try and work with people that want to be worked with. Still looking to help give a Voice to folks that might not get it otherwise.
Looking forward to continuing down our Chosen Path of the Road Less traveled. Looking forward to supporting those that could use the support.
