From Corrie :
I am so glad I chose to play volleyball my freshman year of high school, Iβve grown to love and be very passionate about it. I have great coaches who have brought me a long way from where i began freshman year.
I love spending time with my teammates, getting to grow better with them, and growing a great friendship.

From Mom π© and Dad π¨ :
We are very proud of Corrie taking on this “new” sport of volleyball (for her) a couple of years ago.
She wanted to try it and we supported her even though she left some success at cross country prior to volleyball.
She caught on quickly and really likes it and has dedicated herself to it with travel volleyball in the off season when she could. She also has stuck with it this year even after an early season broken ankle.
Her desire to rehab and PT the ankle to get back is to her credit. We hope she will continue to love it and work hard to better herself at it. We love her drive. When she sets her mind to something, she does it.

From Head Coach Cindy Edwards :
Corrie Delp is so athletic. At the very beginning of the season she broke her ankle at practice.
She was a player we were counting on a lot, but things happened for a reason it allowed other young kids to get valuable playing time. Corrie just got released yesterday, so hopefully, we can get her a little bit of playing time here at the end of our season. Corrie also runs track and plays basketball, she is another 3 sport athlete.

Going to step in here and temporarily fill the Giant shoes π of Assistant Coach Maleah Neely. First I would like to say a GIANT Thank you to Coach Neely for the amount of time and dedication π she has shown in writing β something personal about each one of the Lady π© Cavaliers.
Now, in regards to Miss Corrie Delp and her efforts this season. With many of the triple threat Athletes at the High School level, its hard to peg which sport is their true passion. That’s simply not the case with Miss Delp, she is a Track and Field star, having qualified for the State meet in both her Freshman and Sophomore seasons.
Suffering a bizarre accident in pre-season practice that led to a broken ankle, it would have been ever so easy to just go home and rest up for Track π£season. The fact that Delp stayed with the team in her walking boot and pushed herself as hard as she could shows a few things – first, it shows the level of commitment that Delp has to herself and second, it shows her Love π and respect she has for her Coaches and her Volleyball π teammates.
Delp eventually made it to the next step which was to dress out for a Match and then finally played a few minutes in the home finally !
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, Miss Corrie Delp of Gladeville !
