Jason Petty has given the past 10 years to the Carroll County High School Volleyball 🏐 program as both the JV Head Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach. Prior to coaching his Final Home 🏡 Match, Coach Cindy Edwards and I were able to show our Appreciation to Coach Petty and his Family 👪.
The team still has one road match remaining next Thursday night 🌙 at Radford but the contest versus Patrick County was his last one on the Home 🏡 court.
The match did not go the way the Coach or the team would have chosen but the effort was there from start to finish.
Patrick County claimed both sets, 25-14 & 25-17 but there were some highlights along the way. In set #2 the Lady 👩 Cavaliers trailed 21-9 before putting together a 6-0 run behind the serving of Leigha Harrad. Harrad landed four Aces during the best run of the night. The team pulled within 22-17 before the Cougars closed out the set and the match.
Ten Years is along time to dedicate your self to others and for that we are grateful 🙏.
