Teaming up with Mrs. Patti Goins for some JV Volleyball 🏐 coverage versus Floyd County High

Carroll County Head Coach Jason Petty had just finished watching his Lady 👩 Cavaliers JV Volleyball 🏐 team drop their opening set 25-10 and then start the second set down 3-0.

Coach stood up and signaled for a quick Time Out and proceeded to use his 60 seconds by having his players run 🏃‍♂️ sprints across their side of the court. What happened next was pretty interesting !

Aubrey Hanshaw landed a pair of Kills and Clara DeHaven scored two Aces for CCHS to give the team a 10-6 lead. By the time the Lady 👩 Cavaliers closed out the 25-21 victory every player on the court had contributed ! Hayden Heflin had the honor 🎖 of closing out the set with the final Kill.

Tied up at 1-1, Floyd County and Carroll County started a winner 🏆 take all final set to 15. DeHaven landed three straight Aces after an Aaliyah Hampton Kill to give CCHS a 7-2 lead.

Katie Beasley made it 10-8 with a Kill and Leigha Harrad landed two Aces to make it 13-10 for the home 🏡 team.

Floyd County would close out the match by scoring the final five points and the 15-13 victory but give Coach Petty for getting his teams attention after being outscored 28-10 early.

Carroll County outscored the Buffalo🐃 35-33 the rest of the way and came ever so close to stealing a Three Rivers District victory…
