Harrisonburg – The temperature 🌡 on the dash reads 46° but the good news is that there’s no wind right now.
The start time for the State Tournament is 8:30 am. Just guessing on the format but its either using both Nines at the same time or a shot gun start.
At 7:25 I’m a little surprised by the lack of vehicles in the parking lot right now.
The GPS reads 2:36 (178 miles) back to the Gymnasium on The Hill and tonight its the lone evening with all three teams playing at Home 🏡. This is significant in that its means needing to be in the Gym by 3: 45 versus 4:45.
The unpredictably of I-81 adds a layer of intrigue to the math 🧮 on the needed departure time but until then let’s see how much framing can be done for Trace Reavis and Coach Chase Robinson on their HUGE day.

Rain is trying to let up as Trace is facing his first sign of trouble. Delicate chip stays in the tall grass. Lengthy putt for Bogey was dead on line but horseshoed out. Double Bogey after 7 pars.
All four golfers are safely on the 9th Green in regulation.

Just long on his tee shot, short chip back to the flag.
Par attempt doesn’t fall, Bogey makes it +4, five to play.
Bogey 5 on the tough 14th hole, parting ways on 15th tee and will depend on Mr & Mrs Reavis to take us home. Time to start the hike back to the Car..
