17 Hours of Life happened today spread across two States and all of it was uplifting 🙏… BROC in North Carolina and CCHS Softball here at Home 🏡….

The Line-up Card for the Adults, who dropped a heart ❤ breaking 💔 5-5 tie 👔 to the Lady 👩 Cavaliers tonight.. Yes, the two teams tied 5-5 after nine innings and I got to declare that the Lady 👩 Cavaliers were the winners 🏆.

Glenn Burnett nominated Coach Terry Wharf as the Most Valuable Player after he did his best Wilbur Wood impression by pitching both sides of the contest !

Emma’s Dad 👨 flirted with hitting the rubberized Softball out of the park and Adam Nester chased Mr. Goins around the bases hard during his 3-run Home Run 🏃‍♂️…

Chef Nester worked the Grill and Velvet Creed Leonard was snapping Photos 📷 throughout. She sent me a few and I’m sure that she has the full lot of them on display over on Facebook !

The morning 🌄 was spent down in Elkins, North Carolina and it will be a story off to itself after some recovery time…

CCHS Softball truly is just a Family 👪 Thing and its a place that both Velvet and I call 📞 🏡…

Her Husband, Chris Leonard was on the disabled list with a Back Injury and Mr Goins might just now be recovering from having Adam chasing him.

But our players Won 🏆 5-5 and that’s what they will remember!
