
Durham – Duke needed 10 innings in their first two games to get past Boston College and Clemson while Florida State University needed one inning each day to dispatch Notre Dame and Georgia Tech.
Today the teams compete for Regional seedings and of course the coveted ACC Championship trophy π.
First Pitch took place at 2:35 with the Game Time tempature of 70Β°.

Florida State took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning when the first four Seminole batters reached base. Duke changed pitchers and escaped the uprising without further damage.
Duke answered right back with two runs of their own in the bottom of the same inning to pull within 3-2


The teams traded zeros in the fifth inning and now head to the top of the sixth inning…

Duke retires the Noles in order in the top of the sixth but are now down to their final six outs.
Claire Davidson leads off with a base on balls. #3 hitter, Aminah Vega will now try to move her over into scoring position. KO on a 3-2 pitch.

Back to the top of the order, D’uana Jennings reloads the bases with a swinging but. Davidson back up – looking for more insurance π!!
Davidson pops out to Short Stop to end the inning but the Blue Devils plate four runs πββοΈ and now lead 6-3.
