Today we had five of our Cavaliers sign their Letters of Intent and its time to take a look at them one at a time, beginning with Emma Leath

Emma Leath is surrounded by 10 of her current Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers teammates in the Auditorium this afternoon.

Leath is wrapping up her Senior season in style, having just passed Sydney Nester on the All-Time wins list for Softball. Only ten strikeouts separate her and Nester on the top of that list heading into the contest versus Pulaski County Monday night.

Leath will be taking her game 33 miles South to the town of Dobson, North Carolina. Surry Community College is a DIII NJCAA program coached by Blaine Bullington. His Knights reached the #2 spot in the National ranking earlier this season.

Leath will join former Lady Cavs Lauren Alley and Macie Adkins as recent graduates πŸŽ“ to move on from Coach Rick Nester’s program to playing at the Collegiate level.

Here is Emma with her parents and her two High School 🏫 Coaches along with her Coach in waiting.

Coach Nester, Emma Leath and Coach Tobler.

The Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers play at home three times next week, all at Cavalier Park before the team heads into their post season. Her four year run wearing our Colors has been stellar and the Greg Maddux of High School Softball still has some work to do yet before hanging up her High School spikes.

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Miss Leath and Mom and Dad !
