Junior Varsity Softball rallies once again, flips 10-5 deficit into a 12-10 victory over Glenvar

Carroll County JV Softball fell behind 10-5 before coming to bat in the bottom of the second inning. No worries at all for Head Coach Alexis Dalton and company though as the Lady Cavaliers plated seven runs in the bottom of the frame.

CCHS sent 12 batters to the plate with the biggest hit coming from Zoey Gwynn. Gwynn laced a three run double to follow up her first inning Triple that plated two of the five first inning runs πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ.

The contest was shortened to just four innings due to the 90 minute time restriction. After Carroll County reclaimed the lead starting pitcher Kenzey McMillian settled down to hold the Highlanders scoreless over the final two innings.

The Younger Cavaliers will have a short turnaround as they will host Grayson County in a double header tomorrow afternoon.

Glenvar … 280 0 – 10
