March 13th is opening day for our Track teams and it will take place on The Hill !
The teams will also return once more in April.
We are looking forward to keeping up with all of the results from every meet along the way !

Marion Harris will be running πββοΈ the Soccer β½οΈ pitch for us all season and tonight each of our three Coaches and teams took the drive π across Lovers Leap for their first scrimmages.
We will try our best to credit the photos π· and quotes to the correct folks each time out.
Tonight we start with Ben Tickle and his Girls π§ squad :
The following is from Coach Tickle:
Girls Lost 4-0 to a strong MV coming off state tournament run last year. We were missing three key players. However, we discovered some others who can step in and fill roles.

JV Boys π¦
JV Boys Soccer from Coach Puckett:
We played Magna Vista the team played very well for the first scrimmage of the year effort and ball movement was much improved over last year.
Main thing we need is some fan support for our home games this is one the most talented varsity teams we have had in years
Christian Ruiz and Bradsel Hernandez each had a goal we lost 4 to 2.
Thank You Coach Puckett !

This is from Coach Johnson:
I’ll send pics later. We tied our first game 1-1 against Chatham with William Burnett scoring the goal and Brayan Hernandez with the assist. We had 2 shots hit the cross bar that game and had atleast 90% possession. The score line didn’t show how we dominated. We lost 2-1 to Magna Vista. Yahir Ruiz scored the goal and Landon Puckett assisted. We Played our butts off and stayed even with the best team in the region the last two years. Needless to say this team is hungry and dangerous.

Thank You Coach Johnson and Thank You π Marion Harris

One can spread out the schedule with the old two fingers trick. We are excited about having this ahead of time and look forward to sharing any updates as their seasons play out.

We will start things of with a Photo π· that Coach Nester sent in from Cavalier Park earlier today.

Then we had this super nice Lady π© on the Left with the winning ticket π from the swell of tickets π sold to help fund the upcoming trip to Washington DC for our Chorus.
Shelia – please let Marion π toss the Frisbee !

Up in Beckley we battled back from a 4-1 deficit versus the defending League Champs π, knotted the game at 4-4, only to fall in extra innings.
Mrs. Dalton took us wire to wire up at Virginia Tech as the MACC wrapped up their season.

I encourage folks to check out the free standing post π« earlier on the competition.

Lauren Alley and UVA-WISE split their double header today, winning the opener before dropping the night cap versus Lincoln Memorial University
The clock β° has reached 10pm and the only thing missing is any word from the Soccer β½οΈ Pitch on how the scrimmages went over in Martinsville. If we hear something later we will add it to the bottom here.

Coach DeHaven will try and squeeze in some time on the Diamond π tomorrow for his baseball βΎοΈ team and if he’s successful we hope to hear π about it later.
Have a Blessed Night π and if we hear from Marion Harris we will add it here.
