Friday is Pulaski County Day for our Cavaliers ! 9 of our 11 are set to take on the Cougars (every one except Boys πŸ‘¦ and Girls πŸ‘§ Track πŸ‘£)

So many games / matches that one can’t fit them all into one screen shot!

We will play PCHS in a best of Nine with the events being divided between The Hill and Dublin.

Staying at 🏑 will be the Varsity Baseball ⚾️, Girls πŸ‘§ Soccer ⚽️ and Girls πŸ‘§ Tennis.

Heading up Highway πŸ›£ 100 will be both Softball teams, Boys πŸ‘¦ Tennis 🎾, JV Baseball ⚾️ and both Boys πŸ‘¦ Soccer ⚽️ teams.

Marion Harris will coral Soccer ⚽️ coverage from all three Head Coaches.

Kevin Burress and I will work together on the Softball coverage.

Greg Talley will be all over the Boys πŸ‘¦ Tennis coverage.

Head Coach Kevin DeHaven will sneak in some Varsity Baseball ⚾️ notes and we received a bunch of stuff from our JV Coach last time and really enjoyed it.

That leaves us Girls πŸ‘§ Tennis 🎾, so if there’s anyone out there that can help out please let us know.

Our Goal will be to gather all 9 scores and have them all in one place for you. There are still thousands of folks out there that don’t already know this is available so feel free to share the news.

Also, if anyone out there wants to join in one the fun there’s plenty of room on the bandwagon !

Only rule is it has to be 100% positive.

. GO CAVS !

It’s time for Part 1.5 of the Tiff Moore story !

What is the difference between 1.5 and 2 ? During our two hour conversation last Saturday afternoon I laid out my plan to Tiff about just how the story would play out. Part 1 would be what we call a Long Lead in. I would be creating a trail πŸ‘£ that would lead into her but all that it would do in regards to her is there would be one photo πŸ“· of her and her Father πŸ‘¨.

We then discussed how we would go about telling her story. When one person tries to tell another’s Story, in my World 🌎 its something that should be done together. WE, meaning her and I will put out Part 2 once she has signed off on it.

There’s a major difference between trying to tell a story versus trying to sell a story. Our goal is to tell the best version of this amazing young ladies story, not the hot take or the ” headline grabbing” version.

When you work for yourself and have no pressure to produce revenue it makes everything less complicated. One great example in regards to Tiff’s story is her time with the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Secret Service.

Yes, its a part of her story but it doesn’t need to be the overriding thing in the story. We are not concerned with whether or not she’s ever seen the Launch Codes or what secret missions or assignments she has been on.

The first word in Secret Service happens to be Secret. Anyone who made it into what I consider to be one of the most Top Shelf groups in the World 🌎 has my love, appreciation and respect.

Part 2 will be me telling her story, in conjunction with her and her Father.

Part 3 will be focusing on her story through her eyes πŸ‘€.

Part 4 will be opened up to others that played a role in her life. We will let her create a list of everyone she thinks should be a part of the conversation. Once we have her list I will reach out to everyone on the list and work with him or her to gather their thoughts.

Today is Day four of Tiff’s latest stint in Duke University Hospital πŸ₯.

Every morning I wake up I read the Facebook update from her family πŸ‘ͺ and while I continue to pray πŸ™ for her, the first request from her was to not make the story about her being in the Hospital again.

Three months ago I had never heard the name Tiff Moore. I spend a great deal of time trying hard to learn more about the history of Carroll County so when Coach Rick Nester called me one evening to tell me about this amazing young lady πŸ‘© I was thinking sign me up.

In a five minute phone call Nester told enough of the highlights about Tiffany’s story that it had me waiting for the next line. Fast Forward to the night πŸŒ™ of the Hall of Fame ceremony when a well spoken gentleman was tasked with trying to summarize her life with the equivalent of an index card. Her portion of the ceremony was done with a great deal of Class but it just made me want to meet her in person.

People tell you that its not always Good to Meet your heroes because they might disappoint you. Sitting in their livingroom had the opposite on me, my appreciation continued to grow for the relationship with Tiff and Tracy.

Part 2 will be titled – Growing Up in Dugspur and we will work on it together once Tiff is strong enough πŸ’ͺfor us to send notes πŸ“ back and forth. So until then, I will continue researching Dugspur and praying πŸ™ for one very determined young Lady.

For the email πŸ“§ subscribers, you all receive a version of the story before I send it out. On this story my spell check changed four things that I didn’t catch. They have now been fixed so I encourage each of you to take the time to read it on the site.

ps – Thank You πŸ™ all for caring ❀ enough to get the behind the scenes look. πŸ’˜

Now we are entering the Mrs. Velvet portion of our Softball coverage !

One of beloved contributors is Velvet Leonard πŸ’– and when she can catch her breath she will send me some of her extra photos πŸ“· from the event she is at. Last night πŸŒ™ she was up in Glenvar with our Softball teams.

First one of the batch is Miss Arizona from the JV team.

I encourage folks to check back on this one as it will grow throughout the day !

Laynie-Jo

Turns out I’m not the only one still up at Midnight ! Thanks Coach Montgomery πŸ™ TRACK πŸ‘£ and FIELD Meet Results
