Mr. T and I team up for a Round of Can you Name That Cavalier ?

Greg Talley is the head of Table #5 and I’m looking forward to writing β that piece but today Mr. T made the Ball Coach smile π

Greg Talley is the Man π¨ ! Coach says he misses the Hair and that Donna was the Best thing to ever happen to him. π

Marion Harris shares the same three core values that I do, Faith, Family πͺ and Friends. He has been a HUGE part of our efforts for a while now and someone I am proud to have as part of our team. His wife and Daughters are part of the package π¦ and all four of them enjoy giving Marion good natured grief and when get the opportunity to hang out with them I do my best to defend his honor. Mrs Harris is the brains π§ of the operation but My Main Man Marion is the Heart and Soul.
βHis efforts to make our Community a better place never stops β. His devotion to the game of Soccer β½οΈ doesn’t just end with cheering on his Daughters as he spends countless hours trying hard to keep the Sport moving forward. He refs games and takes some of the local players to Referee School so they to can join in on the quest to Advance the Sport locally. I had the privilege of spending the day around Marion in what I have to believe is his favorite combination of Faith & Soccer, the Fellowship of Christian βοΈ Athletes Soccer Fest down in Abingdon.
βBack to the three Daughters that they have raised. Adrienne Harris is another person that has been saddled with a OneofUs.Care nickname as I call her “Our Future “. Such a wonderful example of someone who leaves a Community to get an education and then races back to said Community in hopes of moving the needle for our youth.
Natalie Harris is fearless and it was no surprise that she followed in her Big Sisters footprints by going down to Emory and Henry. Her plan once she graduates π is to come back π‘ as well.
βThe youngest one, Callie Harris has some big shoes π to fill and she’s off to a terrific start.
βBack to Marion, his latest endeavor involves live streaming the Varsity Girls π§ Basketball π games and putting them on Facebook for people to see π for free. I feel honored to have our tripod play a small role in the process !
βMarion has also led me to Trenton Miller, Ben Tickle and Russell Smoot among others. He arranged our meeting with Vickie Ritchie for the first time and takes on the role of surfing πββοΈ Social Media in hopes of finding stories that fit inside our efforts.
At the Banquet in March, Marion will be the one to present Mr. Tickle before three other folks share their thoughts on this gem π of a Man π¨.
βIt is also our hope that he will be willing to live stream the event for the folks that can’t attend.
Table #2 belongs to My Main Man Marion ! On the train π for as long as Anyone !!

The Hill will remain quiet for the most part tonight as two of our teams head South to the Pool in Abingdon and two will head up I-81 to Buchanan

The swim πββοΈ teams have been trying hard to play catch up as this will be their third meet in four days. Already looking forward to hearing all about it.
βThe Girls π§ Basketball programs will have another busy week as they are playing four times in the next six days. Alyssa Ervin enters the week 38 points away from tying the School All-Time scoring record that is currently held by Erin Gibson. The passing of the torch π¦ figures to take place Wednesday night on The Hill but one cannot rule out it taking place tonight against the Knights.
Both of the teams have been playing red hot Basketball π as of late and hopefully that will continue this evening up North.
βWe are in the final hours of the Ethan Richardson( Mission Trip) Telethon and if you haven’t read that story please π check it out as its been a Heart Warming β₯ few days!

β
Nathan Jones, Look what you did ! The story that led to Ethan Richardson performing the National Anthem tonight on The Hill
Marion Harris will be the focus here in a bit as we follow up the piece from yesterday on Kevin Burress as Table Master #1 at our upcoming Banquet.
If you are going to traveling up or down I-81 today, Godspeed on your journey π.
βWe have another week in front of us, here’s to making the Best of it !
