Sitting at the house 🏠 last night, Moneyball is in the DVD 📀 player because if I’m at the house there’s always something that Aaron Sorkin created in my DVD player.

 I had just shared a laugh with Shannon Dalton about the weeks we just finished up when my Wife called from out in Missouri, where she is out helping take care of her Mother 👩.

 The journey of what are objective here in Carroll County is has not truly seen the light of day . OneofUs.Care is something we created in hopes of making the World 🌎 in General and Carroll County in particular a Better Place. The number one part of that Mission is to flood society with all of the Positivity we can.

 Life is hard for all of us, I myself wake up each day to a pile of 29 pills 💊 that are designed to get me through the day. We all face challenges and we all deal with life and death on a daily basis. So I search out ways to try and make people smile, everyday, no matter how life has treated me the day before. This morning 🌄 it was penning a tribute to Kevin Burress. Letting him know that I see you Brother, I see the good you are doing for our youth.

 Let’s get back to the number at the Top of the Page (2,098). There were days over the past three ➕ years where that number would end up at 12.

 When my Wife heard the number she asked what happened ?

 Borrowing a Aaron Sorkin line from Newsroom (which I do a great deal) I said I guess “I wrote better.”

 My mission is simple, trying to help our Youth in anyway imaginable. There were a set of circumstances in my life that prevented me from having the opportunity to be a teacher but I worked hard in life to make sure our Children would have the chance to touch lives.

 We netted a College Professor, a teacher and one of our Son’s wife is also a teacher. We haven’t lost the battle, even though plenty of people will tell you we have. There’s hope and we can get this done, even if its one person at a time.

 If it appears that I am trying to search out others like myself, its because thats exactly 💯% what I am trying to do and will be doing until I can’t function anymore.

 Notice the writing ✍ style, 100% positive and supportive to all on an equal basis.

 There’s no way to know how many of the 2,000+ readers will continue to check in but we are Thankful that 🙏 they did.

 The piece on Alyssa Ervin came from the Heart ❤ and being able to frame the events that led to Ethan Richardson to singing the National Anthem was a blessing but my highlight yesterday was receiving text message updates from Mrs. Dalton for what I think was just over four hours. Why would I give up my Saturday afternoon to create a running 🏃‍♂️ post about Swimming 🏊‍♂️ and Academics ? If you know anything about what we are chasing that question would answer itself.

 Monday night our JV Girls 👧 will be playing at James River up in Buchanan. Going to James River is worse than going to Alleghany because everyone knows about the line – Why do I have to go there ?

I’m looking forward to the trip up because I see the Love 💘 those parents have for their little Girls and that warms the Heart ❤

As we get closer to our March 23rd date 📅 we have a number of things taking place in a number of different directions, but that’s a good thing, a good kinda busy. One of the bigger challenges is coming up with the guest list. We have places for 88 folks to attend so the path of least resistance was to ➗ 88 by 8 to get 11.

 Eleven tables that will have eight seats 💺at them. The next step is who gets the Honor 🎖of hosting a table? We have our eleven now and its time to acknowledge each of them and why they have been given the Seat at the Head of the Table. The first task the Table Master has is to invite seven people that he or she wants to be surrounded by. All that we ask in return is that anyone that has unused tickets 🎟 please return them because we have some quality people that would like to use them.

 The tickets 🎟 themselves are designed to be keepsakes. Ron Cochran and I have started the process of designing them and now Ron will begin the creative process.

 Now, with that said, let’s take a look at the first of the Eleven, Mr. Kevin Burress.

 Kevin is someone I am proud to be able to call a friend as he is simply put, One Class Act. The easiest thing a person can do is Love 💘 their Children, in comparison one of the hardest things to do is take responsibility for other peoples Children and Kevin Burress does that on a regular basis. Now he has some other folks that are there every step 🚶‍♂️ of the way and the number one thing Tim Tebow has taught me is that you have to have a circle 🔵 of Trust and Kevin has one of those for sure.

 See, when you give of yourself in the manner that Kevin does, you cannot get through the Day without a solid support group. Kevin has mastered the Art of what I like to call “Cross Over Caring ❤”.

 Kevin will participate in the event in three ways. First, he will introduce everyone sitting at his table and describe who they are to him.

 Second, he will be one of the four folks that will be paying tribute to our Guest of Honor, Rick Nester. Side note, Kevin is the only one that will be speaking on Rick’s behalf that Rick is not fearing.

 Third task for Kevin will include putting his Big Green Gloves back on and taking care of business if anyone of the speakers 🔊 goes past five minutes.

 There’s no truth to the rumor that Kevin got an invite so we could hang out with Natalie Burress. While I haven’t interacted with all of their youngins, Natalie is quite the Young Lady.
