I was pleasantly surprised to see Coach Montgomery at the Academics event, unaware he was part of the team of educators helping out Mrs. Dalton. I had two favors to ask of him and I wanted to wait ✋ and do it in person.

 I had been trying to get the attention of our Cheer Coach for a couple of years now but had no contact information. There are photos of them all over our site but I was pretty sure that they weren’t aware of any of it.

 When I learned that Shawn had a daughter on the squad I asked for help. I had a hunch that I might get to meet her tonight because I was filling in behind the 🎤🎙 for the games. Every time the team took the floor I acknowledged them and encouraged folks to show their appreciation after the fact.

 The combination of the two things led to the moment that I had been chasing.

 This young Lady works hard and her Students work hard so naturally we want to acknowledge all of the effort!

Hopefully we can move forward 🙏 together now!
