Last night Shannon Dalton told us that Mrs. Reitzel waited for the end of basketball 🏀 practice yesterday and then drove her Son Davis up to Bland for the academic meet. That loop is just under an hour each way on a nice day and comes in at a 106 mile loop at the end of the day.
Today I was in the Gymnasium when Mrs. Richardson scooped up her son Ethan so he could compete in the Swim 🏊♂️ meet tonight. That one clocked in at a loop of 3 hours / 168 miles.
So we want to applaud both of the overachieving Student Athletes 👏 but we also applaud the Mother’s in these two equations !
