Both on the Hill and in the Va Tech Swimming 🏊‍♂️ Pool, it might be time to get back at it !

Thank you for the coverage from Allen Worrell 🙏 after the 50 copies of the Book 📖 that were made available at Ron’s Omega Church and Office Supply sold out.

 Today we were able to complete the Final Phase of our Fund Raising as the 50 Copies made available at The Carroll News have now been spoken for. It would appear that some $$$ will make its way to the Special Olympics, FCA, Boys 👦 Tennis 🎾 program and the Wrestling program!

 The final four copies that are readily available are earmarked for both the Public Library (2) and the Carroll County High School 🏫 Library (2).

 The goal is to make the book available to the masses in the form of someone checking it out at one of the two locations.

The two folks pictured above were an absolute treat to deal with (and we even teamed up to help a nice Lady 👩 jump start her Car 🚗 in the middle of the conversation.

 We have to await someone in the system to formally accept the Books 📚 and make them available.

Tomorrow we will attempt to do the same at the High School 🏫. Can anyone out there help me out by letting me know who is our School Librarian 🏫 ? I feel silly for not already knowing that answer.

 Just received an update from Wrestling Coach West Long after tonights Senior Day Quad Meet was officially postponed.

” Match has been cancelled tonight! Next matches are:

Tuesday January 30
district tournament
@ James River

Saturday February 10
Region tournament
@ Abingdon “

Once of the concerns I had with the stockpile of postponements was that the Meet for tonight might fall victim to rescheduling issues.

 Tonight was set to be Senior Night 🌙 and the third and final 🏡 Wrestling meet.
