An Exciting Milestone has been reached this morning 🌄 for one of our Three Sites !

When you set out to start a 100% positive Blog which contains 90% High School 🏫 Athletics, one doesn’t have a goal in mind regarding numbers. One just sets out like Johnny 🍎 Appleseed tossing around joy like he tossed out seeds.

Thank You to ALL of the folks in Page County, Shenandoah County, Augusta County, Orcas Island 🏝 and Carroll County that took the time to take a moment to check out the latest attempt to make folks smile 😃

Let the (Winter) games begin for our Cavaliers ! Two teams are set to debut on Wednesday

This Wednesday evening both the Junior Varsity Girls 👧 Basketball 🏀 and the Wrestling team officially kickoff the Winter season for Carroll County High School 🏫 Athletics!

Coach Kayla Nester will take her team down US-58 to face Galax at 6pm while Coach West Long and his wrestlers host Pulaski County High, also starting at 6pm.

4 Basketball 🏀 teams, 2 Swim 🏊‍♂️ teams and a Wrestling team will keep the Community entertained both on the Hill and on the Highway 🛣 for the next few months and we will do our best to shine a positive light on each of the groups of Student Athletes in appreciation of their efforts.

Our latest Friends and Neighbor’s stop ✋ takes us to nearby Radford University – Home of the Highlanders

Quite possibly one of the coolest Mascots around !

Today Notre Dame of Maryland (Gators) are in the Arena to challenge Radford.

Radford University competes in the Big South (9 team League) and the Men’s team is currently 4-3, on its way to 5-3. For most people Radford University sits in the shadow of neighboring Virginia Tech but its the closest Division 1 College to Hillsville/ Carroll County at 42 miles, edging out Wake Forest and formentioned Va Tech.

Looking for some reasonably priced D1 Men and Women’s Basketball 🏀 this Winter then Radford University is a viable option !
