15 years later Kallie Hovatter is still hooping it up, in Australia πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί after wearing the colors of Elon University.

Back in 2008 Jeff Burner was coaching Girls πŸ‘§ Basketball πŸ€ in the village of Quicksburg at Stonewall Jackson High School 🏫. Kallie Hovatter was playing her Senior season under Burner before her path would take her to Elon University before she took her talent to the far side of the World 🌎.

33 years and counting for Coach Burner but the school name has been changed to Mountain β›° View.

My time with Coach Burner is still on going but it began when Hovatter was lightning up the gym both at home 🏑 and on the road until her graduation in 2007.

High School 🏫 to Elon University and then Professional Basketball πŸ€ was the path for a very impressive young Lady πŸ‘© and the fact that its still going on just makes it a better story.

Tonight is the unofficial beginning of the Senior Season for Alyssa Ervin at Carroll County High School 🏫.

Nobody knows how the next few months play out but one things for sure, folks around here will be watching a generational talent. Get some popcorn 🍿and enjoy the show because you are never guaranteed the next time it will take place.

Enjoy the rest of the ride for the Ervin family πŸ‘ͺ. 6:00 pm is set for the scrimmage with Eastside. But don’t forget that the Little Cavaliers (JV) will take their turn on the court at 5pm.

The next few months should be full of excitement for everyone around the Cavaliers program !
