Eastside High School 🏫 will be making the trek down here on Monday night 🌙 instead of tonight, thus making the two Meet the Cavaliers events on Friday Night 🌙 now the official kickoff of the Hoops season.

Kayla Nester is set to begin another season leading our Basketball 🏀 Youth through the final stop before the Varsity program. Before becoming the Carroll County High School JV Coach Kayla Nester was Kayla Goins the Basketball 🏀 player.

After graduating Carroll County High School 🏫 Goins signed to play Hoops at nearby Ferrum. As a freshman in College Goins started all 27 games for the Panthers.

Ferrum would be home for Goins until Graduation 🎓 Day

After her time on Campus Goins – Nester would return to her School 🏫 on the Hill

where she now assists the next generation of Cavalier youth.

Here in a few days her latest group of Cavaliers will take to the Court in hopes of continuing the process of getting to play the game at the next level. Before we move forward with the new group let’s take a look back at last year’s squad !
