Coach Anthony Barnes welcomes back his staff and six of his players from the 2022-2023 season. A season that included a Home 🏡 post season victory in addition to a winning record. Barnes will try to continue the momentum this season my meshing his six returning players with youngsters from the JV program.

Brayden and Bryce Smoot along with Ethan Richardson, Davis Reitzel, Isaiah Easter and Jabin Talley will provide plenty of experience and leadership for Barnes. The group will rely upon their speed and Basketball 🏀 IQ to offset a lack of height now that 6’5 Elijah Cox is playing ball at the college level.

Noah Manning, Jay Burnette, Cody Reece, Landon Puckett, Caden Dalton and Paul Marshall will fill out the roster. Easter was part of that Junior Varsity group before being called up for the Post Season (2 games).

Here’s what we know for sure – this group will be well coached, play fast and give their best each and every time they lace up their sneakers 👟.

Meet the Cavaliers is set for Friday night on the Hill and Saturday will be spent in Abingdon for a scrimmage day with the home team and Chilhowie.

Region 3D was all chalk as the Top Four teams all advanced – by 22, 23, 24 and 32 points.
