Caring ❤ about the “Other” Sports has it Perks – NCAA Elite Eight Field Hockey 🏑 games ! Yes, the field is Duke Blue !

The Atlantic Coast Conference has five of the eight teams remaining in the field, including both Duke and Syracuse that are set to face off here at 1pm.

North Carolina is set to host today while Louisville is on the road at #2 Northwestern and UVA @ #4 Maryland

Bonus in that my Bride 👰 is taking in the action 🎬 as well.

The Final Four is set for next weekend on the Campus of UNC. Let’s hope that its full of ACC teams!

At the Half, 1-1 after Duke scores on a rare Penalty shot.

Duke takes the lead 2-1 inside of the first minute of the third quarter and leads by that same score heading into the final 15 minutes.

Duke, UNC and UVA make the Final Four and Louisville was about to make it a clean sweep before Northwestern scored late to tie it and finally win it. I think it was Meat Loaf 🍖 that sang two out of three ain’t bad so if that’s true, then three out of our four is freaking Awesome !

The Circle 🔵 of Life moment is taking place right in front of us as we send off a remarkable young Lady 👩 from College athletics while welcoming a new and smiling face to the World 🌎 of AAU Basketball 🏀.

The icing on the Cake 🎂 in this story is that Ms. Harris is set to return to Carroll County and spend her foreseeable future assisting the children of Carroll County!

Adrienne – Thank You 🙏 so much for the Memories and the grace you displayed throughout your playing career at both Carroll County High School 🏫 and Emory & Henry.

As for young Gracie, welcome to the adventure !
