Giving a Loud Shout Out to our Cindy Edwards Friday Night 🌙 was Easy as it involved two things I Love – Duke University and Volleyball 🏐. Today we shine our Light on Mr. Chris Leonard for the things he does for our Youth and we did it in his Powder Blue !

Being part of a Duo or Tag Team is always tricky as you have to list one name first and one name last. Ben & Jerry, Sears & Roebuck, Batman and Robin are just a few examples that come to mind. Penn and Teller is a pair where one of them isn’t even allowed to talk but today was about the Three Headed Monster that makes up our Lady Swat Softball team.

Burress, Goins and Leonard could pass for the name of a Law Firm but they’re just three Gentlemen who are trying hard to fill the pipeline for Coach Rick Nester’s Cavalier Softball program. We have an extra dose of respect because while Goins is the strong silent type, Leonard exists in the long shadow of Burress. Leonard gives of his time and energy so freely that Linda and I wanted to show our deep appreciation for his efforts.

So today we dressed up and show Love and Support for his beloved Tar Heels 👠

We even smiled and drank from the Carolina chalice and tried to laugh along when twice during the UNC Fight Song the crowd announced at 47 000 chanted Go – To – Hell – Duke.

The movie 🎥 Field of Dreams told us that there’s people like Leonard in every town and I believe 🙏 that. We should celebrate these people every chance we can.

Today, a Life Long Duke follower and supporter took his Bride 👰 to a UNC Football 🏈 game where what I am sure are relatively nice people openly mocked a fine Educational institution. We did that to show our support for one of our Hometown Heroes ! Please keep doing what you are doing for who you are doing it for !
