Carroll County and Radford split their regular season matches with each team winning on the others Home π‘ floor. Earlier this season the Bobcats eked out a five set thriller on the Hill and the Cavaliers swept Radford at their place last week.

Carroll County is currently ranked as the #14 team in Class 3 by MaxPreps and figures to slot into the 4-5-6 seed for next week’s Regional tournament.
They will avoid the play-in round where #7 faces #10 and #8 faces #9 but will almost certainly open the Tournament on the Road with minimal chance of playing again at Home in the single elimination event.
While they would host as the #4 (versus #5) the team is more likely to land in the #5 or #6 seed which will travel in the opening round.
Last year Carroll County landed the #3 seed and defeated a then Class 3 Bassett team in the #3-#6 match. CCHS then traveled over to Dry Fork and played #2 Tunstall in a match for the ages in front of the loudest group of fans I’ve ever heard πat a Volleyball π match. The Lady π© Cavaliers missed advancing to the State Tournament my the slimmest of margins.

First things First – The Three Rivers District has added a Top Four team post season event that opens tonight with #2-CCHS hosting #3-Radford and #1 Alleghany hosting #4 – Glenvar with their match starting at 7pm and ours starting at 6:30.
The winners π meet up on Thursday night π and most Cav fans will be rooting for Glenvar because CCHS would host the Highlanders while another trek to the Highlands takes place if the Cougars prevail.

One more Last Chance to cheer on this group of impressive Young Ladies without having to bust out your GPS and pack a lunch baring an upset.
6:30 pm is Tonight’s start time !
