Freshmen are in purple and sophomores in pink.

Laiken Burnette 20 yard rushing touchdown for the Sophmores.

Kevin reports that the Wanta be Cheerleading Pyramid didn’t quite get there.

Turnover on downs for the freshmen. 2 nice rushes for Addie Greene gave the freshman some life but the drive stalled at the Sophmores 25 yard line.

Rushing Touchdown Sophmores. 2 pt conversion good. 14 to 0 Sophmores…

Thanks Kevin for sharing the opening πŸ™ game.

This week its District Volleyball 🏐, next week its the Quest for the State Tournament ! Deadline for Regional Championship is November 8th…Marion says on the Top Ten of the 11 get an invite, seems πŸ€” less than polite. But that would leave 7 vs 10 & 8 vs 9 in the First Round and #11 feeling left out.

Tuesday night πŸŒ™ our Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers will host Radford in one of the Three Rivers District semi-finals (6:30) while Glenvar makes the trek over to Alleghany in the other match up. The winners will meet Thursday night to decide the Three Rivers District Tournament Championship.

There’s hope for Glenvar defeating Alleghany in their match as the Highlanders claimed a victory over the Cougars just last week at home 🏑. The reason that matters to a Carroll County fan is if its Carroll County – Glenvar for the Title then the match is played on our Hill but if A

the Cougars prevails then its Thursday night in the Highlands of Alleghany for our Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers.

Region 3D has 11 teams and let’s assume that the same format is used for the tournament as last year. If that’s the case then the Top 5 get a first round bye while #8 hosts #9, #7 hosts #10 and #6 hosts #11.

The second round would be 1 vs 8/9, 2 vs 7/10, 3 vs 6/11 and 4 vs 5.

Having a bit of unofficial fun while I await an Official Region 3D Bracket, let’s take a look at the possibilities.

Hidden Valley is going to be the #1 seed and will play at Home throughout.

Christiansburg (18-3) should land the #2 seed by an ever so small margin over #3 Lord Botetourt (17-4).

By record alone Tunstall (18-3) would be ahead of LBHS but the strength πŸ’ͺ of schedule should land them the #4 seed just ahead of the #5 Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers (14-6).

**** Interesting Fact about Tunstall Trojans – All 3 Loses occurred on the same day in a Jamboree event.

If that plays out in that order CCHS would receive a Bye and then head back to Tunstall for a rematch of last years thrilling 5 set battle with the Trojans.

Teams 6 – 11 include Cave Spring (11-9) and Abingdon (12-11) with winning records and solid power ratings but I would be surprised if either could get moved up ahead of Carroll County.

The lower four teams in the bracket should battle it out with those two for the right to play the Top 3 at the same time of the #4-#5 match.

What does this all mean in regards to how many more times the Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers Volleyball 🏐 team will play inside their Gymnasium after tomorrow night πŸŒ™? Quite possibly Zero, if Alleghany holds serve (Volleyball 🏐 pun) then Carroll County goes up there if they beat Radford.

If Carroll County lands the #5 seed in the Region then I don’t see a path where they play at home because the teams above them aren’t prone to fall to teams 6-11.

But if they fall to #6 then they would host #11 and finally if they were to somehow jump Tunstall and land in the #4 spot they would host the Trojans.

For the sake of taking the story Full Circle πŸ”΅, everyone should come out Tuesday night πŸŒ™ and cheer on the Home 🏑 team because it could be their final Home match…..
