Tonight’s event will take place Indoors at the Hope Community Church β›ͺπŸ™

Linda and I have offered ourselves up as Sacrifice to what looks to be a room full of talented Corn Hole players. The Photo πŸ“· on the left shows the progress that the Church β›ͺ has made to date. On the right of course is a Corn Hole Board.

Corn Hole has continued to grow at a pretty high rate over the years, including at the College level

Ended up playing doubles and so far its Win, Lose, Win, Win, Lose to our Host in the 5th game

Then it was Kevin and his partner that sent us towards the Charlotte Airport

My partner for the Night πŸŒ™ on the Left and our Host Kevin on the right.

Great Company, Great Cause = Great Time !

Today’s Mission – Chasing Community Pride ! Going to try and Help the Next Cause that’s important to someone in our part of the Woods….

Kevin Worrell is our Town Barber and his shop on Main Street takes me back to a time when life was simpler. Here in a few hours Kevin is set to host a CornHole fundraiser at the Hope Community Church β›ͺ (6pm – Rain 🌧 or Shine) and while I don’t fancy myself a Professional CornHole player I am willing to toss a Bag or two for the right Cause.

Looking to try and display some Community Spirit at 2:30pm, if there’s anyone that reads my attempt to spread joy everyday that is looking for something fun tonight they should stop by and join the fun and I will happily cover their entry fee for the event – just tell them that you want the OneofUs.Care rate.

Kevin is still hoping that Mother Nature cooperates πŸ™ so that the event can be held outside but it will take place inside if need be.

Where the Cavaliers stand as the Calender gets ready to flip to November

Friday October 20th –

CCHS Golf β›³ – Each level of the program has completed their season.

CCHS Volleyball 🏐 – Both of the younger teams have now completed their Seasons but the Varsity program has a minimum of two matches remaining. The Lady πŸ‘© Cavaliers host Radford next Tuesday night πŸŒ™ on the Hill in the Three Rivers District Semi-final.

Defeating the Bobcats on Tuesday would send the Cavaliers to the Finals on Thursday, either hosting Glenvar or at Alleghany.

The following week begins Regional play and while the seedings haven’t been made available yet the team figures to play one match in the Home Gymnasium.

Each of the Cross Country teams have completed their regular season schedule πŸ“… and the Regional meet is set for November 1st down in Bristol at Sugar Hollow Park.

The Football 🏈 programs are heading down the Home 🏑 stretch in two ways. Tonight is the Bye Week and the Varsity team will play at Home for the remainder of the Season. Both Radford and Glenvar are awaiting trips down I-81 to face our Cavaliers.

In two weeks + the Fall Season will be complete and we will head indoors for the Winter where Coaches Motley, Barnes and Long are βš™βš™βš™ gearing up for the kickoff of their Seasons.

Hopefully everyone is now correctly updated. Go Out and have yourself a Blessed Day !
