Kris Richardson knows how to have fun and show his Bride 👰 Paula a Good Time. Today they headed out to Grayson County for a Priv-y Race 🏁. The word was new to me and Kris was quick to point out that its another term for an outhouse.

Well, the next thing you know……. We see a couple of Richardsons, a Smoot, a Lyons , a Reitzel and a Talley enjoying the experience 😀

My understanding is that the participants have to take turns being the Passenger inside the unit during a race against another group of Athletes.

As someone who fancies themselves a Marketing person I have to admit that this idea 💡 just screams fun. If I remember the story correctly it was Davis Reitzel that stumbled across the event out in Independence and the cast and crew were assembled from there.

The one-liners practically write ✍ themselves…

But I’ll leave mine as Kris takes Kids to the woodshed / Outhouse / Honey 🍯 Bucket……

All of the participants have a few rain 🌧 drops to dodge but it hasn’t dampened the Spirits of those in attendance !

Vickey is in full Hostees mode, wearing her Pirate ☠ costume and in her spare time trying to herd Cattle. That’s a story all to itself, for later.

The race itself is broken down into three categories – a 5K for the more serious runners 🏃‍♂️, a 1 mile walk 🚶‍♂️for the middle of the road participate and a short one for the Little ones.

The Clock ⏰ now reads 10:30am and the final race participants are finishing up their events. It doesn’t appear to be a mad dash for most to exit as the feel good moment continues to fill the Air!

Our Search for all that are doing Great Things in their Community will continue on for the foreseeable future and know that Vickey is Amazing 👏. Give Vickey the opportunity to speak and she will quickly tell you its far from a One Person Show !
